There appears to no end to scam mails in our in boxes. Even though some of them are out-rightly stupid, ridiculous and petty. Such mail may be a link to defrauding you.The essential tip is to be cautious.
I recommend the following to reduce burden of such mail in your inbox.
- Be careful where you drop your mail address whether offline or online.. You are likely to get plenty scam mails if you have tendency to feel every e-forms you find on the the internet. Drop your email address only only on trusted site.
- You can block such email address. They don't come with unsubscribing link if they do it maybe further way to ensnare you.
- Get such mail into the spam box.
- Add suspicious e-mail address to blocked sender list if you mail service provider can do that.
- Don't carry out instruction emanating from such fraudulent mails.
This was scary because the recipient owns a GT Bank account, but what gave it away was that he did not transact recently on the account, and didn't have such profile on his account and again simply placing the cursor on the sender name(DON'T CLICK) it revealed -nicky.oconell@ hotmail.co.uk.
